its
structure consists of a carved and turned maple stem and a metal
painted shade whose movement imitates a jackknife's blade -
allowing the lampshade to close in a flush position when not in use. warm LEDs reflect off the natural wood surface,
producing a soft illuminating glow towards the surrounding environment.
