through geometric and functional facades - full of windows and typical in modernist buildings from the 1920s and 1930s –
italian designer luca nichetto has created the loos lamp for swedish lighting company zero. drawing visual reference from
scottish plaids, the sources of influence behind the family of lamps loos - which includes a pendant version, a floor version
and a table version - sees the implementation of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands of different colored felt.
a play of solids and voids are generated through the geometry of the three caps, that, once they are superimposed,
create an effect of light and shadow that can be changed by simply rotating the sections.
