east meets west with kimu design studio's 'new old light'.
the collection of pendant lamps combine a simple wooden shade with a traditional paper lantern--commonly found in the chinese and japanese cultures--
nestled within, which acts as an extension as well as a diffuser for the light. this paper component can be pulled-down as well as contracted,
depending on the intensity of illumination one desires.
